Curriculum Framework

  • GPSC follows the Single National Curriculum of Pakistan, supplemented with additional learning resources.
  • ECD to Secondary Grades, students engage with a diverse syllabus incorporating materials from Oxford, Skool21, National Textbook Board, Punjab Textbook Board, Win Publishers, and Moon Light Publishers. The E-STEAM section, starting from Grade 1, integrates a specialized curriculum covering Kids' Entrepreneurship, Environment, Science, Engineering, Technology, and Mathematics. For Matric and Intermediate levels, GPSC adheres to the syllabus prescribed by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE).
  • Key subjects taught:
    • ECD: Basic literacy of English and Urdu, numeracy, art, and general knowledge
    • Primary (Grades 1 - 5): English, Urdu, Mathematics, Science, Social /Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, and Computer Science.
    • E-STEAM (Grades 1 - 8): English, Urdu, Mathematics, Science, Social/Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, Computer Science + advanced core subjects, entrepreneurships and STEAM skills and project-based learning
    • Middle (Grades 6 - 8): English, Urdu, Mathematics, Science, Social/Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, and Computer Science
    • Secondary (Grades 9 - 12): Subjects streams for science (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical and ICS).

Assessment & Examinations

  • Formative Assessments: Conducted throughout the year on a monthly basis.
  • Summative Exams: Mid-year and final term examinations.
  • Grading System: Based on Marks and Percentages.
  • Report Cards: Issued at the end of each term.
